Online cdi application for higher education emergency relief funds (HEERF)

The U.S Department of Education has made Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students of our institution who are in need of financial support for their expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19.  This application permits students to apply for these need-based grants.  Each student will be eligible for only one grant, and only one application will be considered per student. Please fill out this information neatly and completely and e-mail it to our Financial Aid Director, Anthony Bateman ([email protected]).   Only active students who are participating in courses actively and who are in satisfactory academic progress (SAP) will be eligible to receive a grant.

Every attempt is being made to provide as much as possible to as many affected students as possible. The school determined which students receive emergency financial aid grants and how much they would receive under Section 18004 (a)(1) of the CARES Act as follows:

All students who were active and attending school from March 16, 2020 through June 24, 2020.  Students who are eligible for Title IV financial aid must also be enrolled in a Title IV eligible program of study to apply for the grant and be in satisfactory academic progress (SAP).  The school is providing funds in three groups.

The application must be received by July 15, 2020.

  • Group 1:  Students who have an EFC of 0 during any award year covered by their enrollment at CDI. The award is $1285.
  • Group 2:  Students who have an EFC of 1-9999 during any award year covered by their enrollment at CDI. The award is $1100.
  • Group 3:  Students who have an EFC of over 10,000 during all award years covered by their enrollment at CDI. The award is $555.
