Trying to feel “normal” in these pandemic times that are anything but “normal” for most of us on this planet has been pretty stressful, tiring and can be discouraging with almost no end in sight. But there IS a light all the way at the end of the tunnel…..and that’s US at CDI waving the light to YOU!

Career Development Institute, Inc. is solely focused on the Vocational Nursing Program, and as we go into our 22nd year of providing nurse training, we are still conducting online classes AND virtual clinical excursions RIGHT NOW! We maintain full ABHES accreditation and received complete approvals to continue teaching our VN Program classes ONLINE to students from their own homes!

At CDI, we’ve carefully migrated all of our theory and clinical classes to virtual and online sessions using the ZOOM.com platform and app, providing a safe and safely-distant opportunity for our students to continue attending class and keep on track with their educational goals from the safety and comfort of their own homes. And like most of us, while also wearing very comfortable clothes, too!

We have invested greatly in our online infrastructure to integrate some of the best simulated clinical excursion programs and utilize some of the highest rated training platforms from across the nation. We’ve put it all together and combined our more than 22 years of healthcare training experience to ensure our students continue to receive some of the best and highest quality training that’s available anywhere. And that’s verified by our ongoing NCLEX-PN passing rates!

We don’t try to be all things to all students. We do one program and teach only one course: Vocational Nursing. This environment allows our students to flourish within smaller class sizes, gives more one-on-one access to instructors and pre-planned and scheduled tutor sessions – available as often as you need and included at no charge for our students!

As we look to the future, CDI already has plans ready for when social distancing requirements are lifted, more public doors re-open and the days we’re all able to re-welcome friends and family all back in (and us getting out to see them, too!). But until then, we must all keep moving forward in whatever way is the closest to what feels most “normal” to each of us during these most unusual of times. We’re doing it all right now and online from your home!

Particularly right now, we believe that maintaining a regular class schedule that’s dependable and consistent most weeks and for just about every day, Monday – Friday is crucial and a key factor in helping keep our students engaged, motivated and attending classes. AND keeps our graduations on time, too!
