Meet CDI’S New Admissions Counselor, Alexandria Dotson
The entire management team at Career Development Institute is thrilled to announce that we’ve got a brand new admissions & job developer. We couldn’t be more excited to have Alexandria on staff with us, so we wanted to take a moment to formally introduce her to our students and our readers.
Originally from Pasadena, Alexandria graduated Cum Laude in 2011 from Hamilton College (Clinton, NY) with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Women’s Studies. While there, she was the 2011-2012 recipient of Hamilton College’s William M. Bristol Fellowship. During her tenure as a post-graduate fellow, she traveled the world researching the global on women of color of the Indian hair trade.
Ms. Dotson hails from a family of nurses and educators. She has a passion for serving others and helping their dreams become a reality. Alexandria honed her job placement and development skills in multiple industries and brings her expertise and zeal for personal and professional development to CDI as Admissions and Job Developer.
As CDI’s admissions counselor, she not only helps students navigate the admissions process, but also has extensive knowledge of new talent acquisition. She uses those insights to prepare students for interview preparation, resume writing, and job placement.
On what she loves most about her new role at CDI: “The teamwork and camaraderie between the staff! Every morning I come into work, I feel like I’m a part of one big family that’s committed to providing the best nursing education and training for our students. It’s amazing!”
